Cremaschi Furlotti becomes the first audited chilean vineyard to be certified sustainable
In a ceremony hosted by Wines of Chile- through the Wine Technology Consortium in conjunction with the University of Talca-Cremaschi Furlotti obtained the certificate of sustainability by becoming the first vineyard audited to approved this label. On the occasion, 14 Chilean vineyards were certified after completing sustainability code of the Chilean wine industry (green area).
The certificate "Certified Sustainable Wine of Chile" is given to the vineyards that gather environmental highest standards in all processes of winemaking. This was possible through certification project of the National Code of Sustainable Wine Industry and aims to bring together the largest number of vineyards to this initiative.

A wine is not only good for its intense flavor, full body, subtle smell and captivating samblaje, but it´s also recognized for its soul. That’s why Furlotti Cremaschi wines have a green spirit.
The production process is completely sustainable, so as to contribute to the environmental care. From planting to bottling, the company use only biodegradable and ecological selected products.
The environmental policy that has the vineyard includes actions such as a plan to control erosion and leaching, and a series of soil analysis and drainage test. There also exist practices of management of micronutrients, of fertilization and amendments, besides a management of weed and pest control, these are some of the sustainable techniques the vineyard applied. It also takes care of the application and storage of chemicals and there is there exist irrigation management of waste and gives an exclusive emphasis on the care of energy.
Cremaschi Furlotti makes an invitation to all the vineyards of Chile to join this initiative and participate in this Sustainability Certification in order to tell the world that we will take care of our paradise of wine.
